“Dave!  They like the play I wrote!  They’re going to let me show it!”  Kurt was glowing with excitement and joy.
Dave didn’t know what to say that could compare to this moment for Kurt, so he just smiled and kissed him firmly on the mouth.
“The owner of the theater is throwing a cocktail party-like showcase thing to introduce me and the play to some big time directors and actors.”  He said, not bothering with a list of names Dave wouldn’t recognize.  “This is the biggest moment of my life.”  He paused for a moment before rushing to add “Well, except marrying you and adopting our son of course!”
“Mhm, I’m so sure.”  Dave said playfully before pulling Kurt in for another kiss.

Can somone explain this to me?

mrerikbutler:

Why is it that some people are acting like we’ll never see Dave on the show? We know nothing about season 4 and Max’s status going into season 4. We just have to be paitient and see what the future holds.

I think Max’s pilot, Last Resort, got picked up. So assuming that is a success and he becomes a regular on that show, Max’s chances of returning on Glee are rather slim. But on the plus side, it’s not that he will be out of work. He’s just moved on to better things and his career is slowly but surely becoming more and more prominent.

Submitted by cleareyesfullheartscantlosee. Did it with him, since I don’t have a meme to represent the show in general…

I know that I am sounding like a broken record, but this upset me.  I may not be gay, but I know people who are, and who have gone through hell because of ignorant people (some who have even considered taking their own lives).  There are several people who I went to high school with who went through what Dave Karofsky went through.  I even had a cousin who killed himself because my uncle didn’t except his sexuality (I never met him, but the whole situation broke my father’s heart.)
This is a storyline that I know A LOT of people could relate to.  Just the way that the fan-base reacted to this storyline, it evoked something in them.  Tumblr was full of posts about the episode and how this storyline moved them and how they felt connected to it because we have all met someone who has gone through this heartbreak before.  Hell, people at my workplace were even talking about this episode and how moving it was.  “On My Way” was called the “best episode of Glee” by many of the people I talk to.
So how come we never heard anything from this plot again?  A plot in a show that is supposed to relate to high school kids had a plot that many shows are too scared to cover, and they never speak of it again.  What the hell?  Are we supposed to assume that a situation that made these characters (especially Kurt who seemed to have a deep friendship with him after this) feel something and in many cases change their way of thinking is never going to be referred to?  Instead we get horrible, poorly written episodes that no one can relate to (nor do many people care about) instead of trying to reach out to a group of people who need to be recognized.  Do they honestly wonder why the ratings are down?  Because people are upset at how insensitive they are (true story, I know someone who stopped watching because of this very reason, and I know there are others out there.)
I am offended.  I am PISSED that Glee was so heartless, so cruel.  To give this amazing plot line, to have this moving, heartbreaking situation and then toss it aside… my heart breaks for all of the people who have survived suicide, and I expected better from a television show that professes to “define a generation.”  This is not what I want this generation defined as.  Glee has let me down.  Yes, I say this all the time, but this is unacceptable!

I am one of those people who had a strong personal connection to this episode. And I am one of those people who are completely angry about their negligence.
